What does "inspired by" mean?

Some Kahil scents have a fragrance profile that is reminiscent of a well-known perfume. They are not original products of those brands, and Kahil is not affiliated with those brands. The brand name only helps you understand which direction a scent goes in.

Where are the perfumes made?

Our 50 ml Extrait de Parfums are made in the Netherlands. We ship all orders from the Netherlands.

How long does a scent last?

That depends on the scent and on your skin. Warm, heavy scents with notes such as oud, amber or vanilla usually last longer than fresh citrus scents. Tip: apply your perfume to your wrists and neck, ideally on moisturised skin, and don't rub it in.

What is the difference between Extrait de Parfum and perfume oil?

An Extrait de Parfum is an alcohol-based spray with more fragrance oil than an Eau de Parfum or Eau de Toilette. The scent projects nicely around you. You apply a perfume oil directly to the skin; the scent stays closer to you and feels more personal.

How do the free samples work?

Every 50 ml bottle of Extrait de Parfum comes with 2 free samples, and every perfume oil or car perfume with 1. You choose the scents in your cart. If you don't choose, we'll pick a scent for you. The samples are 2 to 5 ml.

When will my order be shipped?

If you order before 17:00 on a working day, we ship your order with DHL the same day. In the Netherlands and Belgium you usually receive your parcel the next working day; to other EU countries it usually takes 2 to 3 working days.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping within the Netherlands is always free. To other EU countries it costs €6, and it's free from €50.

Can I return my order?

Yes. In the Netherlands you have 30 days and returns are free. In other EU countries you have 14 days and you pay the return costs yourself. For hygiene reasons, sealed perfumes cannot be returned once the foil has been removed. Read everything in our refund policy.

How can I pay?

You can pay securely by credit card, PayPal or Klarna, and on your phone with Apple Pay or Google Pay. In the Netherlands and Belgium you can also pay with iDEAL or Bancontact.

Are the reviews genuine?
